The structure of a hexameric form of S100A12, a member of the S100 family of proteins, has been solved at 2.7 Å resolution. The results suggest a functional significance for the hexamer.

The structure of binase, a member of the guanyl-specific microbial ribonuclease family of proteins, has been solved as a free enzyme at 1.65 Å resolution. This structure is compared with the binase complexes with 3'GMP and sulfate ions determined with data extending to 2.0 Å resolution.

The crystal structure of the bacterial catalase from M. lysodeikticus has been refined at 0.88 Å using the gene-derived sequence, revealing the active site with unprecedented accuracy. In addition, the structures of the ferryl intermediate of the catalase (compound II) at 1.96 Å resolution and the catalase complex with NADPH at 1.83 Å resolution have been determined.
