Tris(glycine)scandium(III) Triperchlorate: a Space-Group Correction

The title complex consists of infinite positively charged [Sc₂(Gly)₆]_n (Gly = glycine, O₂CCH₂NH₃) chains and ClO₄^- anions. In the [Sc₂(Gly)₆]_n chain, each adjacent pair of Sc³⁺ ions is linked by three glycine molecules. The scandium ions are octahedrally coordinated by six oxygen atoms from six glycine. The coordination environment around Sc1 is nearly ideal while that around Sc2 is quite distorted. This work is a correction of space-group from P-1 (Yan et al., 1996) to R-3.
