Dupeyredioxyl (1,3,5,7-Tetramethyl-2,6-diazaadamantane-N,N'-dioxyl)

The title compound, C₁₂H₂₀N₂O₂, exhibits two crystalline forms ([alpha] monoclinic and [beta] orthorhombic) in which the diazaadamantane skeleton has the same structure but the packing is different. Both are obtained by crystallization in diethyl ether. The monoclinic form has been reported to possess a ferromagnetic transition.
