Reconciling the Crystal Structure of [Ru(NH₃)₆]Cl₃ with its ESR Properties

Hexaammineruthenium(III) trichloride forms monoclinic crystals containing four inequivalent Ru(NH₃)₆ fragments. The structure is consistent with the ESR spectrum of the compound.
