The title compound, [Fe(C15H15ClNS)(C14H16N)], crystallizes with the thio­carbamoyl chloride unit nearly coplanar with the cyclo­penta­dienyl ring to which it is attached. There is a slight deviation from planarity which, along with the orientation of the amino substituent on the other cyclo­penta­dienyl ring, is suggestive of an intra­molecular hydrogen bond. The long donor–acceptor N...S length of 3.702 (2) Å indicates that any inter­action is weak.
