metal-organic compounds
The structure comprises [Cu(C6H8NO6)2] complex units and H2O molecules. Two molecules of the ligand chelate the metal in an octahedral fashion through four O and two N atoms: the four O atoms form the equatorial plane and the two N atoms occupy the apical positions. The complex molecules and the H2O molecules are connected by O—HO hydrogen bonds.
