Butyldichlorophenyltin–1,2-Bis(diphenylphosphoryl)ethane (1/1)

The phosphine oxide ligand bridges the molecules of the Lewis acid in butyldichlorophenyltin 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)ethane (1/1), [SnCl₂(C₄H₉)(C₆H₅){P₂O₂(C₂H₄)(C₆H₅)₄}], to form chains, i.e. catena-poly[butyldichlorophenyltin-μ-1,2-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)ethane O:O′]. The Sn atom shows distorted all-trans octahedral coordination.
