[3-(Diethylphosphono)propionato]triphenyltin

In the title compound, [Sn(C₇H₁₄O₅P)(C₆H₅)₃], the planar triphenyltin cations are axially bridged through the carboxyl and phosphoryl O atoms of the 3-(diethylphosphono)propionate anions into zigzag chains that run parallel to the c axis {i.e. catena-poly[triphenyltin-μ-3(diethylphosphono)propionato-O:O^{P = O}]}.
