1,2-Bis(2,6-diethylphenyl)-3,3-(oxydiethyl)guanidine

The phenyl groups of the title compound, N¹,N²-bis(2,6-diethylphenyl)morpholine-4-carboxamidine, C₂₅H₃₅N₃O, are oriented roughly perpendicular to the guanidine plane. The peripheral ethyl residues exhibit very high displacement parameters. The guanidine N-H group forms an intermolecular hydrogen bond to the oxydiethyl O atom.
