(3S,5S,1'S)-3-Benzyl-5-[1'-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)-2'-phenylethyl]-4,5-dihydrofuran-2(3H)-one

The crystal structure of the title compound, C₂₄H₂₉NO₄, contains three chiral centres which are in the S configuration. The dihydrofuranone ring takes an envelope conformation.
