The chemical formula in the paper by Wojciechowska & Daszkiewicz [Acta Cryst. (2007), E63, m2975–m2976] is corrected.

, the nitrate ligand should be carbonate and the hydroxide counter-anion should be water, thus making the correct chemical composition [Co(CO3)(C10H8N2)2](NO3)·5H2O and the correct chemical name bis(2,2′-bipyridine)(carbonato-κ2O,O′)cobalt(III) nitrate pentahydrate.
