δ(+)H distance of 5.10 Å is observed in the solid state of the title compound, C10H16NO5PS2, and falls within the range of literature values for the separation of δ(-)δ(-) charges in the active site of insect acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Two intramolecular C—HO contacts reduce the rotational degrees of freedom of famphur.
