C16H17N3S contains a planar thiazole ring. The C-S bond length is shorter than that found in the tetrahydrothiophene [Allen, Kennard, Watson, Brammer, Orpen & Taylor (1987). J. Chem. Soc. Perkin Trans. 2, pp. S1-19]. The phenyl and the thiazole rings are conjugated.
