Li_1.14Nb_0.93Sc_0.67Cr_0.40P₃O₁₂ is the first example of a Nasicon-type compound containing a pentavalent cation. The [M₂(PO₄)₃] framework contains double [M(1)M(2)P₃O₁₈] units which share apical O atoms to form a three-dimensional network.
