Dalspinosin

The title compound, 3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one, C₁₈H₁₆O₇, consists of two phenyl rings (A and B) and a heterocyclic ring C. Rings A and B are planar and ring C is slightly puckered. The packing of the molecules in the unit cell is governed by van der Waals interactions and hydrogen bonds.
