The structure determination of cisapride (+)-tartrate, C23H30ClFN3O4+.C4H5O6-, from X-ray diffraction data of crystals obtained from an ethanol solution, showed that the diastereomers [(3R,4S)(2R,3R)] and [(3S,4R)(2R,3R)] crystallized as a double salt in a 1:1 ratio.
