2,13-Dithia[3]metacyclo[3](2,3)naphthalenophane and 2,13-Dithia[3]metacyclo[3](1,7)naphthalenophane

The title compounds are isomeric, C₂₀H₁₈S₂. The (2,3) isomer has a anti conformation, parallel ring systems and approximate mirror symmetry. The (1,7) isomer has perpendicular ring systems and the bridge conformations reflect the inherent asymmetry of the substitution pattern.
