The title compound, [Sr(C14H23)2(C4H8O)], has twofold crystallographic symmetry and possesses a bent geometry with a Cp–Sr–Cp angle of 139.4 (1)°, where Cp indicates a cyclopentadienyl ring (Cp) centroid. The Sr–O distance is 2.571 (3) Å and the average Sr–CCp distance is 2.838 (7) Å.
