Flurtamone, 5-methylamino-2-phenyl-4-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)furan-3(2H)-one, C18H14F3NO2, is a weed killer. The phenyl substituents are rotated by about 30 and 72° from the mean plane of the central five-membered ring, while the methylamino substituent lies almost within this plane.
