In the title compound, [Sn2(C6H5)6(C8H4O4)], two triphenyl­tin groups are bridged by an isophthalate dianion through its two carboxyl­ate groups. Each Sn atom displays a distorted tetra­hedral geometry composed of three phenyl groups and one carboxyl­ate O atom from the isophthalate anion.

Geometry. All e.s.d.'s (except the e.s.d. in the dihedral angle between two l.s. planes) are estimated using the full covariance matrix.
