The crystal structure of 2-aminophenylammonium dihydrogenphosphate, C6H9N2+.H2PO4, consists of layers built up from H2PO4 tetrahedra alternating with singly protonated orthophenylenediamine molecules. Two types of hydrogen bond, O—H...O and N—H...O, ensure the cohesion and stability of the structure.
