Bis[methyl N^β-(4-dimethylaminophenylmethylene)dithiocarbazato]nickel(II)

There are two independent centrosymmetric and essentially planar mol­ecules in the unit cell of the title compound, [Ni(C₁₁H₁₄N₃S₂)₂], with slightly different ligand conformations and with a square-planar coordination of the nickel atom. Within each molecule the two ligands are linked by a pair of C—H...S hydrogen-bonding interactions.
