The title compound, p-arsanilic acid, C6H7AsNO3, contains an As atom tetrahedrally coordinated to three O atoms and a C atom of the substituted benzene ring. The molecules are linked by an array of hydrogen bonds arising from three separate interactions formed between N and O atoms and one involving two O atoms. The molecule is in the zwitterionic form (i.e. p-ammoniophenylarsonate).
