2-Hydr­oxy-8-phenyl­tricyclo­[7.3.1.02,7]tridecan-13-one reacts with 2-amino­benzyl alcohol to form the title compound, C26H29NO, which crystallizes with two independent mol­ecules in the asymmetric unit. The N atom shows a nearly planar coordination owing to the strain imposed on the fused-ring compound.
