A new modification of NaCoPO₄ with the zeolite ABW structure

A new polymorph of NaCoPO₄, sodium cobalt(II) phosphate, crystallizes with a monoclinic modification of the zeolite ABW structure. The five-coordinate Na⁺ cations reside within channels running through an open cobalt-phosphate framework constructed from four-, six- and eight-membered rings of alternating CoO₄ and PO₄ tetrahedra.
