1-(2,4-Diacetoxyphenyl)-2-phenylethanone

The synthesis and structure of the title compound, C₁₈H₁₆O₅, are reported. The two phenyl rings are inclined at an angle of 66.9 (1)° with respect to each other; the substituent acetoxy groups are also twisted relative to the central phenyl group.
