6-Ammonio-(1H⁺)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotridecane-5,7-dione Dichloride Methanol Solvate: an Amino-Pendant Tetraazacyclotridecane Derivative

The structure of a new aminotetraazacycloalkane derivative, 6-amino-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotridecane-5,7-dione, has been determined in its diprotonated form. Charge balance is supplied by two chloride anions and the lattice also contains a methanol solvate to give the formula C₉H₂₁N₅O₂²⁺.2Cl^-.CH₃OH.
