2-Acetylpyridinium 4N-Phenylthiosemicarbazone Chloride 1.25-Hydrate

Molecules of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₅N₄S⁺.Cl⁻.1.25H₂O, are linked through intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form a dimeric structure. The crystal structure of the dimer is stabilized by two intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the N3—HN3...S type and two intra­molecular hydrogen bonds of the N4—HN4...C1 type. The inter- and intramolecular bonds form an eight-membered and a ten-membered ring, respectively.
