organic compounds
The geometry about the P atom in the title compound, C27H33O7P.H2O, is virtually indistinguishable from that of triphenylphosphine oxide and several analogues. Threefold symmetry is absent, surprisingly, and each 2-methoxyethoxy sidechain is unique. One is involved in an internal hydrogen bond to water, another is on the same side of the plane formed by the three phosphorus-bearing C atoms as is the hydrogen-bonding side chain, and the third is on the other side of this plane.
