3,3-Dimethylglutaronitrile

The X-ray determination of the title compound, 3,3-dimethylpentanedinitrile, C₇H₁₀N₂, was performed in order to characterize an intermediate product. The compound crystallizes in the C2/c space group, with one molecule in a general position and another molecule on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis.
