[N,N'-1,3-Propylenebis(salicylaldimine)]bis(pyridine)cobalt(III) Tetraphenylborate Pyridine Solvate

The crystal structure determination of the title compound, [Co(C₁₇H₁₆N₂O₂)(C₅H₅N)₂](C₂₄H₂₀B).C₅H₅N, indicates that the cobalt ion has an octahedral environment. The Schiff-base ligand {systematic name: 2,2'[1,3-propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato} is found to be disordered at positions C8 and C9 in the propylene chain.
