MgCl₂.2.5C₂H₅OH-NaCl mixed crystals

This paper describes the formation of two kinds of mixed crystals of MgCl₂ and NaCl by ball milling magnesium chloride-ethanol adducts together with sodium chloride. X-ray diffraction analysis of the ball-milled MgCl₂.2.5C₂H₅OH-NaCl powder shows that the two mixed crystals are NaMgCl₃ and Na₂MgCl₄.
