A Diaza Analogue of Benzo-15-crown-5

The title compound, 2,3-benzo-7,10,13-trioxa1,4-diaza-2-pentadecene, C₁₄H₂₂N₂O₃, is a derivative of benzo-15-crown-5 in which the two O atoms flanking the aromatic ring are replaced by NH groups. Except for the rigidly near-planar OC₆H₄O segment, the macrocycle contains gauche C-C and a mixture of gauche and anti C-O and C-N linkages.
