Each linear uranyl group in the title compound, [(UO2)2(NO3)4(H2O)2·2C4H11NO, is perpendicular to the equatorial plane formed by six O atoms, two of which belong to the bridging water molecules and four to the bidentate nitrate groups. The coordination polyhedron has a slightly distorted hexagonal bipyramidal arrangement. The non-coordinated 2-dimethylaminoethanol molecules are hydrogen bonded to the bridging water molecules with an O...O distance of 2.77 (3) Å.
