Aquadichloro(2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')copper(II)

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [CuCl₂(C₁₄H₁₂N₂)(H₂O)], previously reported by Preston & Kennard [J. Chem. Soc. A (1969). pp. 2955-2958], has been redetermined. The recognition of an inversion twin allowed a much better refinement.
