Abstract: In the title compound, (C7H11N4)2[Ni(H2O)4Cl2]Cl2·4H2O, the Ni complex occupies a special position on the twofold axis; both cation and anions, as well as the water molecules, are in general positions. The multiple crystallographically independent hydrogen bonds form an infinite three-dimensional network in the crystal.
