Abstract: In the title compound, (C₇H₁₁N₄)₂[Ni(H₂O)₄Cl₂]Cl₂·4H₂O, the Ni complex occupies a special position on the twofold axis; both cation and anions, as well as the water molecules, are in general positions. The multiple crystallographically independent hydrogen bonds form an infinite three-dimensional network in the crystal.
