Abstract: Corrections are given for the paper by Delarue & Orland [Acta Cryst. (2000), A56, 562-574]. Page 564: second column, first line should read `constraint on the to lie on the unit circle ...'. Page 566: the line immediately below equation (33) should read ` $\beta{\scr F}$ is the maximum likelihood ...'. Page 572: first line of last paragraph of §7 should read `In the case of model refinement, ...'.
